If you should ever be in a position to need physical therapy this facility and crew is where you really need to go. From the moment that one enters the door, encountering the office staff, to the PT crew who each are aware of the nuances of each particular patients and their injuries or needs, each patient is greeted by name and treated like a member of the family. The communication with the staff is outstanding and they make it a point of ensuring that there is clear understanding both ways, that questions are addressed and answered, as well as anticipating questions or needs. In short, this is one of the nicest and most comprehensive facilities that I have worked with and everyone is extremely motivated to ensure that progress is being made and people are treated well. ***UPDATE*** I feel compelled to amend my prior review. The Director called me after the post and asked if I'd be willing to give it another go. I said absolutely. This was the experience I have been reading about from the rest of you. Absolutely professional. Extremely helpful and courteous. I am going to continue with them because I am sure they will help me take my recuperation from hip replacement surgery further than I could do on my own. Doubly important to me because I will soon have the other hip replaced. So many "thank you's" to their Director for the follow up.
12/2 follow-up: the office did call a few days later. Apparently they were some staffing issues due to the absence of a key person. Based on the good vibes I had regarding the PT, I decided to make an appointment. It was a good call. After an evaluation with manager Rob, I have since had six sessions with Krzysztof. I am midway in my treatment plan and am quite satisfied. The PT staff is very competent, the manager has been on top of my program and Danielle in the office is efficient and was proactive in rescheduling an appointment I had to miss. I would recommend this facility to anyone needing PT.
Both of them explain everything to me which is great for my shoulder and mine set. I never have to wait on my appointment time, they are knowledgeable and patience while I'm regaining my range of motion, and every time I leave, I feel one step closer to getting my mobility back.
Old post (partial): Reading all these great reviews I wonder what happened to me. My experience was not a good one. The person I worked with didn't seem to understand the limitations of someone 3 days after total hip replacement...couldn't go back.
Friday at 4:30 I called. “Oh, yes you are on our call list. One second, please ..........” After 6 1/2 minutes, I hung up and began a search for a PT appointment elsewhere. I still have not had a return call.
I would highly recommend Fitness Quest Punta Gorda. I enjoy the welcoming atmosphere from the moment I walk I am greeted with a friendly smile from Amanda. The therapist do an outstanding job assessing the problem and reassessing it to find different ways to alleviate my pain and strengthen my shoulder and elbow. Rob, Jen, Kim , Cole, Johnny, and Curtis are all dedicated professionals and I am extremely grateful for their Compassionate Care and hard work. Thank you Fitness Quest!
I've been very fortunate getting Bronson and Jen as my physical therapist three times per week.
Was not treated. Called the Punta Gorda office and receptionist said they would need my insurance before they could give me an appt. I gave them everything they asked. Was told I would hear within 24 hours and have an appointment on Friday or Monday. (This was on Wednesday.)
Its been 6 weeks since my shoulder surgery - and I gotta tell all you folks - this place is awesome. Don't pass this place up in Punta Gorda, Fl. if you are looking for a great physical therapist.
