Service was excellent. Food is amazing and the desserts are second to none. My beautiful wife and I love everything about this restaurant. Make a reservation, I promise, you won’t be disappointed. Perfect date night
Have been here before and thought the food was overpriced but decent. Tried going back on a Saturday at 4pm as soon as they opened and we were told they have no room for us because they are full with reservations at 5pm... mind you their whole entire dining room was empty, we arrived at 4pm, and there was only 2 of us and we were turned away.. We could have easily ate and finished up by 5pm for their reservations. Ended up going to Donatos a little further away and loved it more than Carmelo's! Definitely a recommendation!
We have tried to eat at Carmelo's on two seperate occasions. Last night was it for us. We arrived at 4pm without a reservation, there was 1 occupied table with a single gentleman, the rest of the restaurant was empty. We were told they could not seat us since we did not have a reservation. We spent our money elsewhere and we were appreciated. We will never venture to Carmelo's again.
The food here is AMAZING. I ordered a dish with shrimps and scallops served over homemade noodles, capers, asparagus, and a limoncello infused cream sauce. I cannot wait to come back. The service was excellent, our server was very kind and knowledgeable. We have a member with allergies to some foods, and she made sure her meal was cooked to perfection. I can't even begin to describe how delicious this meal was. It fills up quick, so either catch a reservation or go early!
Very good made from scratch Italian food. Outside seating area very nice and private from the street. Definitely a leisurely dining place, as everything is made to order. Relax and enjoy. Beer and wine only.
